Barbara P. Guyette 1934-2025
Barbara P. Guyette 1934-2025

Barbara (DeDeurwaerder) Guyette, 91 of Southampton Mass, passed peacefully On October 23, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Barbara was born on July 13, 1934 in Holyoke, Mass and was the eldest daughter of Adolph DeDeurwaerder & Edna (Goudreau) DeDeurwaerder.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Herbert Guyette, (for which she was married to for 41 years) her brother Paul DeDeurwaerder, her sister Theresa Dion and her Great Granddaughter Alyssa Ivory-Aultman.

She leaves behind her brother Henry (Ricky) DeDeurwaerder, her two children, Bruce Guyette and his wife Laura; Susan Senecal and her husband Denis. Due to the care of Susan and Denis, Barbara was able to remain in her family home that she built with her husband.

Barbara took pride in and cherished her 3 Grandchildren, Steven Aultman, Jenny Reyor, & Tara LaFlamme along with her 7 great Grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart.

Barbara retired from the former Tubed Products Inc. in which she worked for 34 years. She filled her retirement with traveling and went on many fun adventures with her family.

Later in life she enjoyed knitting, playing cribbage and doing puzzles, but her biggest joy was her family. She was always sharing stories with them about her childhood and she always had hugs, M&M’s and $2 bills for her great grandchildren. No matter what trials she went through in life, she conquered them with a positive attitude and her silly sense of humor.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends for her warmth, kindness, compassion, wit and her humor.

Mom, you will always be in our hearts. We love you.

Calling Hours for Barbara will be on Thursday October 30, 2025 at Boucher - O'Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St. Easthampton from 4-6PM.
