Howard A. Drew

Howard Drew, 85, died on March 7, 2021 at the Care One Nursing Home in Northampton. Born on January 11, 1936 in Southampton, he was the son of Kenneth and Evelyn (Bushey) Drew. He was a member of the Massachusetts National Guard then served his country in the United States Army. Drew loved car shows, he also loved showing off his pickup truck, that had a beautiful paint job with fire flames on the side. Drew was a big fan of country music. He was predeceased by his wife Phyllis (Boynton) Drew in 2000, they loved to vacation during the summer at Lake George in New York. He will be dearly missed by his sisters Carol LaValley of Ware and Linda Champagne of Chicopee, also a very special longtime friend Barbara Curran. He was predeceased by three brothers; Bruce, Kenneth and George Drew and two sisters Sandra Figueroa and Nellie Pealo. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a calling hour at the Boucher-O’Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St., Easthampton on Friday, March 12 beginning at 10 AM. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11:30 AM in St Brigid’s Cemetery. Memorial donations in Drews name may be made to the Cooley Dickinson VNA and Hospice.
