Theresa May (Terri) Braman Kellogg 1942-2026

Theresa May (Terri) Braman Kellogg passed peacefully on Sept 15th with her family by her side. She was born May 18, 1942 to Harold and Lauretta Braman. Theresa was preceded by her parents and her two brothers Harold Jr and Richard. She was raised in New City section of Easthampton. She went to the French school in Easthampton and to Smith Voke in Northampton.

She later caught the eye of William Kellogg (Buffy) with her love of a good two-step and was married on Dec 31, 1987. She was blessed with 38 years of happiness and celebrated the births of 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with one great granddaughter on the way. She also welcomed two stepchildren and embraced them as part of her family she held so dear. An excellent cook, she passed that talent onto her daughters. She loved making Sunday dinners followed by a lively game of cards that were filled with lots of laughter and friendly competition.

Her creativity and love were evident in the handmade crochet sweater sets she made to welcome each new baby into the family or an afghan for anyone who asked. She was an avid large puzzle maker and loved to do crosswords and word searches. Dancing was her passion and her and Billy had many fun nights at the Baystate Legion whooping it up.

She treasured her family and the love, laughter, traditions and memories they shared. She will be deeply missed and remembered by her children Lori (the late Mark) Newsome of Westfield, Cindy (Paul) Hewes of NC, Michael (Sherrie) Kaciak of SC, Eric (Schawn) Kellogg of CO, Sean Kellogg of Florence, her sisters, Joyce Mayo of Westhampton, Jeanne Gwinner of Southampton, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and godchildren.

Calling hours will be held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday Sept 23rd, at the Boucher O'Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St in Easthampton. Her Funeral will be on Thursday Sept 24th, meeting at the funeral home for 10AM, followed by her burial at Center Cemetery, 23 North Rd, Chesterfield MA.

If you wish, you can make a donation to the Go Red for Woman Initiative at the American Heart Association, in her memory.
