Carol A. Hamel, 79, passed away on January 22 at the Charlene Manor in Greenfield. Born on July 20, 1942 in Holyoke Massachusetts she was the daughter of Henry and Carrella (Turconi) Casavant. Carol was married to Albert Hamel for over 59 years, he passed away in 2018.
She will be dearly missed by her son Steven Hamel, Sr. of Granby, a brother Elliot Beals of Chicopee and two sisters Barbara of FL and Linda Dearing of FL. She was beloved by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves many nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her husband Albert and her son Kenneth who died in 2021.
A calling our will be held at the Boucher-O'Brien Funeral Home 7 Pleasant St., on Friday, January 28, 2022 in the morning from 8:30 to 9:30 with a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Valley Parish for 10AM, The burial will follow in Saint Brigid's Cemetery all in Easthampton.
