Daniel Tracy Brown 1959-2022

Daniel Tracy Brown, born in Northampton, MA on December 30, 1959 to Audrey (Parsons) Brown and the late Walter B. Brown, died Friday on his 63rd birthday at home in Easthampton after a year-long battle with cancer.

Dan served in the U.S. Army from 1978-1982. He worked many local jobs, including at Target and Home Depot in Hadley.

His passion in life was his extensive collection of comic books, buying and selling at area flea markets. Please raise a toast in his memory with your favorite Coca-Cola product, because “No, Pepsi is NOT ok!”

Dan leaves his devoted mother Audrey Brown of Easthampton, late father Walter Brown, sister Susan Hodnicki (Joseph) of Easthampton, late brother David Brown, nephews Joshua Hodnicki and Timothy Hodnicki (Heather), nieces Jessica Hodnicki and Amanda Sieracki, his son Jason Brown and Ryan Wing, who he helped raise. Dan also leaves his aunt Patricia Parsons and many cousins.

Many thanks to the Cancer Center and Hospice, both at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and their excellent staff who helped tremendously on this journey. Please consider a memorial donation to them @giving.cooleydickinson.org or mailing to: Development Office, Cooley Dickinson Health Care, P.O. Box 329, Northampton, MA 01061-0329, noting “ Cancer Center” or “Hospice”.
