Debra Mae Jarosz 1953-2025

Debra Mae (Packard) Jarosz, 72, died on December 3, 2025 at home in Easthampton. She was born in Northampton on February 20, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy (Porter) Packard and younger sister to Bruce Packard. She was raised in Easthampton and a graduate of Easthampton High School. She married and had two sons, Ian and Joshua. She worked in health care most of her life and graduated as a Registered Nurse from Holyoke Community College at age 40. She worked for several years at Cooley Dickinson Hospital until her retirement. Debra was known for her love of the game of backgammon and was reigning champion (of the family) when she passed. One of her favorite things in life was studying history and sharing as much as she could.


She was predeceased by her parents and her brother. She will be dearly missed by her two sons Ian and Joshua Jarosz both of Easthampton. She also leaves her former husband John Jarosz and several nieces and nephews, as well as several cousins. Her funeral services will be held on Thursday December 11th, meeting in Brookside Cemetery for a 10 AM. Prayer Service Committal, all are welcome to attend.
