Denise Donovan 1968-2024

Denise Donovan (Dee Dee) age 55, of Holyoke, MA passed away on 2/20/24 from a valiant battle with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (P.A.H.)

Dee was born on June 12,1968 to Daniel Laprade and Claire (Bushey) Laprade in Easthampton, MA along with her two siblings Daniel Laprade and Dawn Bates. Dee is predeceased by her father and brother. She was an amazing daughter, an incredible mother to Savannah Kellogg and loving wife to Jeffrey Donovan. Dee was always putting family first, being the best mother, daughter, and wife that anyone could ask for. Anyone who met her knew how strong and how beautiful of a person she was. She fought a long hard battle with P.A.H. and was a model of strength, determination, resiliency, stoicism, and compassion. Throughout her battle she continued to work full-time and assist those she loved. Dee did everything she could for her family all the way up till the end. She has requested that we not be sad for her but that we celebrate all that we have in life and enjoy it while we can.

She will be deeply missed by all those she leaves behind, there are no words to describe the impression she has left on all of us. There will be a small service held at a later date, no calling hours. Boucher-O'Brien Funeral Home in Easthampton is assisting the family.
