Elaine V. ( LaFlam) Parizo, 88, of Easthampton, MA passed away on January, 31, 2024 with her loving family by her side.
Born on May 7, 1935, she was the daughter of Leo and Bertha ( Raymond) LaFlam. Elaine was born and raised in Easthampton, MA.
She was married to Francis Parizo for 53 years. They lived in the New City section of Easthampton and then moved to Park Street, raising their six children. She loved being a homemaker and mother to their six children. Elaine enjoyed the many family picnics with her sisters and all the kids. She enjoyed cooking and knitting and was a former communicant of Notre Dame Church.
Elaine was predeceased by her husband Frances in 2003, a son Steven Parizo in 2007. She will be dearly missed by her children; a daughter Ann M. Parizo of Easthampton, Brian Parizo and his wife Heather Parizo of Texas, Mark Parizo and his significant other Tina White, of Easthampton, Michael Parizo and his wife Robyn Parizo, of Easthampton, David Parizo and his wife Robin Parizo of Easthampton,. She leaves her 12 loving grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Elaine also leaves her dear sister Bernice Neuman of Easthampton. She was predeceased by her sisters Joan Carrier and Jane Mumblow.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, February 6th from 5-7 PM at Boucher - O’Brien Funeral home, 7 Pleasant St. Easthampton. Her funeral will be Wednesday, February 7th at the Funeral Home 10 - 11 AM with a service at 11AM. Her burial will be held in East St. Cemetery at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers a donation may be made be to the Dakin Humane Society.
