Jane Ann Bouffard peacefully passed away at home with her daughter and siblings by her side in the early afternoon on June 16th.
Jane, daughter of the late Leo and Katherine (Salatiello) Bouffard, was born in Connecticut and later raised in Whitinsville, Massachusetts. She studied Psychology at Brown University, graduating in 1976, and started working at United Way across the country from Cleveland, Ohio to Portland, Oregon. She returned to Massachusetts to pursue her MBA at Boston University which led to her career in operational and managerial consulting including at the MAC group and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).
Life brought her back and forth across the country, but she spent the last two decades of her life in her home state where many family and friends resided. She was a devoted mother who nurtured and instilled the best in her daughter. She loved the chance to expand her knowledge and used her years of experience to contribute in her assorted roles at ECC Partnership and Emerson Hospital. She was an early member of the Westford Community Gardens where she pursued her passion for gardening especially tomatoes.
She fought a courageous battle against a RET cancer for almost two years. Jane was predeceased by her older brother David and her mother and father. Jane leaves behind her daughter, Samantha, her sister Bettyjean, her brothers Edward and Michael, her niece and nephews, and many friends. We were all touched by her beautiful soul and thoughtful insights, and she will always be in our hearts.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the Most Holy Redeemer Church at 120 Russell St, Hadley, MA followed by her burial at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Easthampton on Mayher St. All are welcome. Additionally, we are planning a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Boucher – O’Brien Funeral Home in Easthampton is in charge of her services.
