Charles E. Gliniak 64, died after a brief illness. Born on November 6, 1956 he was raised in Easthampton and attended public schools graduating in 1975. Charles went on to attend Holyoke Community College and later Mount Ida College. He was the middle son of the late Henry George Gliniak and Pearl (Doucette) Gliniak. Charles was so grateful to be able to help care for his brother Henry Carl Gliniak during his battle with cancer until his death in 2010. He leaves his brother Mark Gliniak of Easthampton and his sisters Jacqueline Kolodziej of Easthampton and Margaret Goolsby of Arizona, his nephews Aaron Hayes of Southampton, Adam Gliniak of Easthampton, and George Lyttle of South Boston and his grandnephew Tyler Lyttle of Boston. Several cousins and many friends as well as his cat Jasmine are left to cherish his memory. Once the restrictions are lifted with Covid – 19 we will plan on having a celebration of his life. Boucher-O’Brien Funeral in Easthampton has been entrusted with his cremation.
