Gladys T. Lithanstanski 1919-2023


Gladys T. (Dlugozima) Lithanstanski, 103, passed away on March 9, 2023 at Linda Manor Extended Care Facility in Leeds. She was born in Easthampton September 10, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Alexandra (Kowalczyk) Dlugozima. She attended Easthampton Schools. She is predeceased by her husband John of 62 years who passed away in 1999 and a son Robert. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Valley Parish. She retired from Lesnow Manufacturing in 1981. Gladys was an avid reader and someone who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She leaves a daughter Nancy Furtek and her husband William who was more a son than a son-in-law.


She is predeceased by her brothers Chester, Alexander Jr., Stanley, Joseph and sisters Jenny and Celia Wisenski. She leaves a dear sister-in-law Mona Faye Cribb, several nieces and nephews, loving friends and kind neighbors.


The family thanks Linda Manor Extended Care Facility for her care and their sympathy.

Her graveside service will be held at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery in Easthampton on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at 1:30PM. Boucher – O’Brien Funeral Home was entrusted with her Cremation.


In lieu of flowers donations can be made to one’s choice.
