John Robert Jarosz passed away on July 6, 2026.  Born in Easthampton, MA on March 16, 1955, to the late Henrietta Pauline Wnenta and Stanley Jarosz of Easthampton. John went Sacred Heart School through 8th grade then attended Easthampton High School.Â
He worked at JP Stevens for several years then decided to return to school to better his life and attain his 1st Class Steam Engineer license to run a power plant and work on boilers. He worked at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Mount Tom Station coal-fired power plant in Holyoke, and then went on to work and retire from Essential Power in W. Springfield, MA. Â
John leaves his two sons, Ian Jarosz and Joshua Jarosz both of Easthampton, along with his partner of 15 years Tammy Kuchyt and her grandchildren, Arieanna, Caleb and Adaline. As well as his brothers and sister, Tom, Ed, and Mary and many nieces and nephews. John was a man who loved life. He loved to watch Tammy’s grandkids play soccer and hockey. If you ever needed anything done, he was the man to call, he was always there to help and always had a smile.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday July19th from 11AM-2PM at the Bluebonnet Diner in Northampton, MA. A graveside service at St. Stanislaus Cemetery will be held on Monday, July 20th at 10AM and all are welcome to attend.
