Lori (Lazier) Derouin, 60, of Arcadia, FL, passed away unexpectedly June 5, 2021. Lori was born on April 27, 1961 in Northampton, MA, to the late Frank Anciporch and Shirley (Wood) Laizer. Lori graduated in 1979 from Smith Vocational & Agricultural High School from the cosmetology program. Lori married Dave Derouin on August 8, 2003; they have been married for 17 years. Lori and Dave moved to Arcadia, FL in 2008. Lori loved the Florida sun, and spent her days tending to her plants and visiting her neighbors. She was always helping her neighbors. She worked for the City of Northampton-Parking Division and Chartpak. Lori is survived by her husband, Dave Derouin; one son Anthony Reardon and his fiancé, Amanda Hebert of Northampton; a grandson Anthony Reardon, Jr. her “Buckaroo”, brothers, Stephen Laizer and his wife Theresa of Hatfield, Jim Laizer and his wife Deb of Florence, a sister Carol Sadlowski and her husband Dave of Florence; brother in law; Mark Derouin of Westfield; a stepson Dave Derouin of Southampton; a stepdaughter Brandy Cahill and husband Jeff, of Westfield, and many nieces and nephews. Lori is preceded in death by her parents.
A poem given to Dave by Lori, which he carries in his wallet: I LOVE YOU MORE EACH DAY!!! FROM THE FIRST TIME I SAW YOU I KNEW WE WERE MEANT TO BE!!! ALWAYS AND FOREVER, YOUR WIFE!!!
Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Boucher-O’Brien Funeral Home in Easthampton has been entrusted with her service.
