Michael (Mike) Lee Woodard Sr, 69 of Easthampton passed away on March 4, 2021 surrounded by his family.
He was born on March 22, 1951 in Northampton. He was the only son of the late Charles Woodard and Alice Joy (McCullough) Packard. On February 2, 1973 he married the love of his life, Joanne Demers, who has predeceased him.
While Mike never finished high school, he did get his GED. He liked to fix and rebuild cars and was the president of A.R.M., Automotive Recyclers of MA. Mike enjoyed going on cruises with his wife Joanne. He was an avid coin collector; he could be seen every Sunday morning walking the fields of the Flea Market in Hadley. Mike was also a foster parent to many children.
Mike is survived by his daughter Leighann Huey of Easthampton and her sons Shawn, Andrew, Tyler and Ryan, son and daughter-in-law, Michael Lee Woodard Jr and Cynthia (Root) Woodard of Easthampton and their daughters Emily Joy and Lyla Grace; son and fiancé Jeffrey Wayne Woodard and Michelle Polmatier. He is also survived by two great grandsons and two great granddaughters.
Boucher - O’Brien Funeral Home in Easthampton is in charge of his service. A graveside service will be held at 11AM on March 11 at Saint Brigid’s Cemetery in Easthampton.
