Norma Ann Dufraine 1969-2022


Norma Ann Dufraine, 52 passed away with her family by her side on February 11, 2022. Norma was born June 2, 1969 in Northampton, Massachusetts. Norma graduation from multiple colleges with many certificates and degrees. Norma went to Holyoke Community College, graduated in 1997 with Substance Abuse Certification, Human Services Certificate, and an Associate’s degree. In 2000, graduated from Westfield State, with her Addiction Counselor Certificate. In 2001, she received her Massachusetts Certificate Board for Addictions Counseling. In 2004, she received her International Certification Board for Addiction's Counseling and Connecticut Board for Addictions Counseling, She also received her LADC, CADC, and CADAC. Her personal interests included her grandchildren, family, pets, event planning and decorating. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members. Her charm and smile brightened rooms as well as people’s lives. Norma is survived by her parents Randy and Audrey Purinton, Penny Purinton, sister, and Randy Purinton, brother. Her 3 children Jessica Morehouse, her spouse Douglas Morehouse, Steven Kolodziej, Jonathan Kolodziej and his spouse Katie Boyington. Her lovely bundle of grandchildren: Nathan Morehouse, Joshua Morales, Jayden Morehouse, Jonathan Jr Kolodziej, Alexander Morehouse, Jackson Kolodziej and her only great-grandson Prince Luna Morehouse. She also has a granddaughter Annabelle Kolodziej who is deceased. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Norma will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed!


A calling hour will be on Friday February 18, 2022 at the Calvary Baptist Church 10AM, 413 Main St, Easthampton, MA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM. Boucher O’Brien Funeral Home in Easthampton is assisting the family.
