Richard J. Liebl, 82 of Easthampton, MA, lost his battle with cancer on March 6th, 2023. He was born in Northampton to the late George and Stacia Liebl. He was predeceased by his brother John Liebl.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Liebl; his brothers George and Charles Liebl; his daughters Heidi Liebl-Slabinski, Heather Ashby, and Ginger Nelson; his grandchildren Wendi Coggeshall-Burr, Noah and Layla Ashby and his great-granddaughter Hero Burr.
His final reflections on his life were “I have done everything I wanted to do in life and lived a long and happy one. Anybody that knows me would know that I was happiest when I was skiing. Secondarily would have been sailing.” He was immensely proud to have learned how to find his way by charting a course on a navigational chart. May he be sailing now with the angels and rest in peace.
