Uesta Tatro, 91, of Westfield passed away on August 21, 2021 at Armbrook Village in Westfield. She was born on July 14, 1930 to the late Joseph C and Lillian (Luman) Sharby in Unionville CT. She married Lynford Tatro in 1950 in Simsbury CT until his death in 1980. She worked at Dynamic Controls Corp. from 1967 to 1992 and was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace workers. She moved to Vernon, CT in 2003 and was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Rockville. She moved to Eastampton in 2014 and Armbrook Village in Westfield in 2015.
She leaves her nephew Martin R. and his wife Barbara Cook of Westhampton and a niece Kathy Pappas of Easthampton, Megan Messier of TX, Jon and Marie Cooper of Southampton, Larry Cooper of Easthampton, Don Cooper of Easthampton, Debbie and Joey Reed of Holyoke, David Salls of Northampton, and Michael Cook of Holyoke.
She is pre-deceased by her sisters Lillian Weathers and June Cooper.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday September 2 at 10AM in Brookside Cemetery in Easthampton, all are welcome to attend.
Boucher – O’Brien Funeral Home in Easthampton has been entrusted with her cremation.
