Norman “Kit” Paul Huard 1946-2023


Norman “Kit” Paul Huard, 77 of Holyoke MA passed away at Renaissance Manor on December 29, 2023. Born on March 20, 1946 in Northampton he was the son of the late Joseph Huard and Beulah (Laprade) Huard.


He was raised in Easthampton, graduated from Easthampton High School in 1965, he was a postgraduate of Westfield Trade School as a machinist. Norman enlisted in the US Navy and served 2 tours in Vietnam.

Norman worked for many years at Digital, Tubed Products and Seal-Ryt Corporation. He enjoyed fishing, driving his old cars, attending car shows and cruse nights. He was always tinkering with his cars, most knew him as Mr. fix it. He loved time with his grandchildren.

Norman leaves his loving sons, Rick Huard of Chicopee, Daniel and his wife Katie Huard of Southampton, Michael Huard of Middlefield, MA


He leaves his significant other of 16 years, Kat O’Leary. He will be missed by his 4 grandchildren, Sydney Huard, Zakary Huard, Anna Huard and Molly Huard.


He was predeceased by his brother Richard.


Visitation will be held at the Boucher – O’Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St. Easthampton, MA on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 10:00-11:00am, his burial with military honors will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
