Robert W. Robare, 76, of Easthampton died on October 30, 2023, in West Springfield at Bear Mountain Nursing Home. Born on July 11, 1947, in Northampton, he was the son of Robert and Raneth (Bruyette) Robare. A lifelong resident of Easthampton Robert grew up and was a graduate of Easthampton High School class of 1965. He then enlisted in the Army serving in Vietnam from 1965 to 1968. Bob worked as an equipment installer for the phone company, where he retired from after 30 years of service. Loved music and was a local DJ. His extended family was his dogs, Roscoe and Oscar his beloved pugs.
Robert and Doris were married in 1966 at St. Mary’s Church in Winchendon MA.
Robert leaves his loving wife Doris A. (Vaillincourt) Robare of Easthampton, he will be dearly missed by his sons; Scott Robare of Easthampton, Christopher Robare of Westfield, Jason, and his wife Andrea of Easthampton. He also leaves his cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Madison, Emma Rose and Owen.
Robert was predeceased by his brothers, Wilfred, Gerald, Richard and his sister Elizabeth.
Roberts cremation was entrusted to the Boucher- O’Brien Funeral Home in Easthampton.
