Roger A. Longchamps 1950-2026

Roger A. Longchamps, 76, of Easthampton, Massachusetts passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital after a brief illness.

Roger was the son of Arthur and Frances (Kowalski) Longchamps of Swansea, Massachusetts.

He was employed as a lineman with National Grid for over 40 years.

Roger is survived by his wife, Elaine, of 55 years; his son Jason and his partner, Todd Walbourn of Brooklyn, New York; his daughter Jaime Todd and her husband Greg of North Andover, and his grandchildren, Roman and Sophia Todd. He also leaves behind a sister, Janet Longchamps of Swansea and many cousins.

Roger was happiest when surrounded by his family during holidays and celebrations and while vacationing in Newport, RI. He especially loved his time with his grandchildren, watching their ball games, events, and being together near the ocean.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 17th from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Boucher-O’Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St., Easthampton, Massachusetts, followed by the funeral mass at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Easthampton. Burial will be at a later date.
